TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown
TabTrade - What It Is
Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. It does inform your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
